1. Easy to Use: Computrex software engineers designed asciiCOM viewing software to emulate the existing IS operating standards of many organizations, so that retrieving information requires minimal operator training and intervention. New users can become familiar with asciiCOM within a few hours and be working productively in a few days.
2. Easy to Implement: asciiCOM can be implemented initially on a small scale at low cost (stand-alone PC) and later may be extended and re-organized onto larger systems (networks, jukeboxes, etc.) as new opportunities and applications are identified. Computrex can offer its clients and their organizations complete flexibility in the licensing and distribution of its software, be it stand-alone, per-user, or master license. Computrex can provide for the installation at specific sites or across users networks or systems. Alternatively, the software can be distributed via the client's CD-ROM disks by inscribing it alongside their data.
3. Easy to Modify: From its many years of experience as a successful national service bureau, Computrex understands that no two organizations store and retrieve data in exactly the same way. Therefore, in developing the asciiCOM/asciiPRO system, the Company decided to "build-in" a variety of methods for both processing and viewing information. Because Computrex has direct access to all asciiCOM/asciiPRO development tools, system documentation, and source code, the Company can easily modify, tailor or add functions or features to the system in order to satisfy the future requirements of its clients.
